Little Works of Art

Galveston reminds me of New Orleans, and not just because the town has a large Mardi Gras celebration. It’s the blend of variant cultures, the weather, the gumbo, and the houses — brightly colored, slightly askew, surrounded by palms, palmettos and with lots of barking dogs.
